Step into a world where history and mystery entwine at the Lake Mansion! This October, we invite you to our fundraiser — a spellbinding evening filled with charm, creative exploration, and a touch of the supernatural. Costumes encouraged!
🎃 What Awaits You:
🕯️ A Ghostly Greeting
From the moment you arrive, you’ll sense the Lake Mansion’s transformation. Has this historic landmark turned into a haunted house? Costumed guests are welcomed through the grand entrance by a spectral host. The esteemed local historian, Patty Cafaretta, will be on hand to share spine-tangling tales of the mansion’s 147-year history and its ghostly lore.
🍹 Spooktacular Cocktails
Four local bartenders will compete to enchant you with eerie yet delightful punches and potions. The creator of the winning cocktail will receive a $500 cash prize, courtesy of US Bank.
🎨 Creepy Crafting
Unlock your artistic potential with hands-on activities guided by teaching artists. Create your own hauntingly beautiful keepsake to remember this magical night.
🖼️ Silent Auction
Explore the Horan Pavilion and bid on an eclectic array of art, from local masterpieces to culinary delights, travel experiences, and sporting adventures. There’s something for every taste!
🎶 Live Music and Delightful Bites
Enjoy the melodies of the Jason King Band as you wander the mansion and grounds. Indulge in a wine and beer bar provided by tavern craft and savor delicious small bites prepared by the Washoe County School Districts Culinary Academy students.

Capacity is limited. You must be over 21 to attend.
All proceeds from the evening will support the Artist in Residency Program, bringing teaching artists to Special Education classrooms throughout Northern Nevada.
