VOLUNTEER WITH US
At Arts for All Nevada, volunteers play a vital role in bringing the joy of art to children, teens, and adults of all abilities. Your time and talent help make the arts truly accessible to all whether you’re assisting in a classroom, guiding guests through the historic Lake Mansion, or helping at one (or more!) of our community events.

Art Classes & Camps
Throughout the year, we offer art classes and seasonal camps primarily for children. Volunteers assist our Teaching Artists by helping set up and clean up, guiding children through simple, fun art projects, and creating a welcoming and creative atmosphere. No prior teaching or art experience is needed.
Volunteers for this role are required to upload a valid Driver’s License or government-issued ID and provide two references.
Art Festivals & Fundraiser Events
We host three family art festivals throughout the year: Youth Art Festival (March), Summer Family Arts Festival (July), and Holiday Family Arts Festival (November), and one major fundraiser (October). Volunteer opportunities for these events include assisting Teaching Artists during hands-on art activities for children, welcoming and guiding guests, face painting, taking event photos, and helping with collaborative community art projects.
For the fundraiser, we also need volunteers to help set up the Lake Mansion, assist with check-in, run the silent auction, support themed activities, and pour wine. Volunteers pouring wine must hold a valid TAM card.

Weekly Wonders Workshops
Our Weekly Wonders program offers 90-minute art workshops for teens and adults with intellectual disabilities. As a volunteer, you will assist participants during the workshop, support the Teaching Artist, and help foster a positive and inclusive experience.
Workshops are held from 3:00 to 4:30PM at four locations:
• Lake Mansion (Reno) on Mondays
• Douglas County Senior Center (Gardnerville) on Wednesdays
• City Parks & Recreation Gym (Sparks) on Thursdays
• Makers Paradise at Reno Public Market (Reno) on Fridays
Volunteers for this role are required to upload a valid Driver’s License or government-issued ID and provide two references.
LAKE MANSION TOURS
During the Artown festival in July, we open the historic Lake Mansion for guided tours. Volunteers help by welcoming guests, managing the flow of visitors, and leading short, engaging tours of the mansion’s art displays and history. Training is provided, and an interest in art and Reno’s cultural history is helpful.
