We have another family printing workshop, this time on styrofoam sheets! This type of printmaking is perfect for young kids looking to explore a different art medium! Participants will carve into styrofoam sheets using wooden dowels, and then print their designs onto cardstock using acrylic paint.

Using a variety of visual arts media, students will have the opportunity to explore different genres, illustration styles, imagery, and calligraphy -- inspiring them to develop the style they will use to create a book of their own! Join us at the Lake Mansion for a Spring Creativity Camp where children will explore the mystery and complexity of ancient art! How did people make art before the advent of modern art supplies and methods? What inspired people to make art in ancient times? These questions will be answered through the course of the week, and kids will get to recreate some of the methods and movements of ancient times! Dress comfortably for artistic exploration! Ages: 6-10All supplies included. A midmorning snack will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions.

Join us at the Lake Mansion for a Spring Creativity Camp where preteens and early teens will learn the process of developing cartoons and comic strips! Students will use traditional drawing methods, as well as digital programs like procreate on iPads! From basic character design to sketching a panel to finishing a polished cartoon strip, kids will leave this camp with a better understanding of the comic process, and how to use various cartoon styles to convey emotion, movement, and action in their art. Dress comfortably for artistic exploration! Ages: 11-15All supplies included. A midmorning snack will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions.
